I was watching Come Dine with Me the other day (love it!) and one of the hosts decided to have a Burlesque dancer perform for her four guests. The girl was gorgeous with gorgeous 50's hair and little frilly knickers, corset and suspenders, but even watching it, it seemed quite awkward...she was all on her own about a metre away from the nearest guest and she threw items of clothing at the guests (two of whom were women, one of which was hit by a garter and did not look impressed!). I'm only ever used to seeing burlesque performances on stages where you're not quite so up close and personal. I just wondered if any one has experienced a private burlesque performance or have any opinions on it...? Two of the guests on the programme said that they felt very uncomfortable...
